View the night-sky at Park Cameras
If you’re interested in observing the night sky, and want to learn more about how you can either view celestial objects such as the moon, stars or planets, then join us on the evening of Thursday 19th November where we’ll be joined by an expert from Celestron UK as well as our own in house Astro-enthusiast where you can find out more about the night sky, and how you can view it.
On the evening, we’ll have a variety of telescopes available for you to use so you can view the moon, including the popular Celestron NexStar 8SE, Origin Mark II and Equatorial Wedge with information on what you can see in the night sky, where to see it, and how you can capture it using either a camera mounted to a telescope, or dedicated products such as the ZWO Seestar S50 Pro.
This event is free and open to all between 5:30pm and 7:00pm whether you’re new to astronomy, or you’re already interested but want to learn more!
Weather dependant, we’ll have a series of telescopes set up in the car park of your store, so along with your curiosity, please ensure you bring something warm to wear. If weather conditions are not ideal, we will set up inside the store where we’ll still be able to share tips, techniques and product recommendations.
Not local? Check out our range of Astronomy products at www.parkcamera.live/optics/astronomy or check out www.parkcamera.live/blog/tips-and-inspiration for monthly tips and inspiration.
